2012 Daytona 675R - this is a track bike only. Getting down to brass tacks here, when attempting to shift from 3rd & up the bike will not shift in high RPM's unless I really kick at it several times. I want to point out that this is not a "feel," or improper up-shifting issue - I know what those feel like.

Shifting with a relatively small amount of throttle open gets good results and 90%+ throttle it shifts seamlessly as well. It doesn't up-shift as smoothly if you are in the 50-80% throttle range from my experience. It is particularly unsettled if you try the 1-2 shift at higher RPMs at partial throttle.

It detects you putting pressure on the shifter and in a fraction of a second cuts and reapplies power. Just long enough that you can make an upshift without any resistance as if you pulled the clutch in. They are really quite slick but totally unnecessary for street riding. You can do the same thing but a bit slower with your right hand.
